If the voice of authority
told you that 1+1=3
Would you believe it?

If the lords of this nation
sent you a parcel of death
Would you receive it?

Answer the one
And not the other
And you willingly condemn
Your sister
Your brother

We vote and pretend
Our vote means nothing
Yet those we elect
Pretend otherwise

A mandate! they claim
To kill
and maim
Did you vote for that?
Oh, no! You'll proclaim

Yet there in the booth
Enshrouded, you swore
The lever you pulled
Was your choice, fer sure

Come hell or high water
All critics be damned!
I voted for him!
I elected the man!

Yet what of the man
Whose lever you pulled?
If he proves a devil
Will you be unmoved?

Will you still support him
Though God be opposed
And sugar o'er the devil
Your nostrils held closed?

Let all who love life
be united for once
There can be no justice
Where truth plays the dunce

If the evil that is
Can outsmart the good
Then no evil at all
Can e'er be withstood

So let all of us
Who prize what is true
Set our sights on one goal
And above all see through
The mission
The calling
Of free people everywhere
To help all our siblings
Fill their lungs with the air
Of freedom
And liberty
And Justice
For all...
