If there is an infernal Abu Ghraib somewhere in the nether regions of hell, John Yoo's name is assuredly near the top of its list of inmates. This is a man who has consistently expressed his hatred of democratic and human rights, and - far worse - has been indispensable in putting those hateful beliefs into practice. The suffering and death of untold thousands of souls are on his head, and I'm afraid not even Jesus can forgive what he's done.
