Bush's Spy Lies

...need a close shave with Occams's razor, as Atrios points out. Friar William of Ockham, as you may recall, is credited with the following famous dictum:

Numquam ponendo est pluritas sine necessitate.

or

"Shave off" (omit) unnecessary entities in explanations.

In its more common form,

The simplest answer is usually the correct one.

Since Dear Leader and his minions have employed so many different explanations to convince us that they have our best interests at heart, the simplest explanation for their shiftiness is that they're up to no good.
