Count Rumsfeld shudders to think of what will happen to him if his steady supply of blood from Gitmo is curtailed.

NEW YORK - The Pentagon will not close its Guantanamo Bay prison for terrorist suspects, despite U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan's call to shut it down, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Friday.

''He's just flat wrong,'' Rumsfeld said during an appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations. ''We shouldn't close Guantanamo. We have several hundred terrorists - bad people, people that if let back out on the field would try to kill Americans. That's just a fact.''

Yep...a fact established by assertion, since none of those detained in Guantanamo have had access to legal counsel or resort to a trial. I hope the devil has a red-hot poker warmed up for Rummy once his undead ass finally succumbs to the ravages his crimes have done to the shriveled turd that once was his soul.
