Only in America

Dubya's America, that is. And only in this upside-down world gone mad do we not only see a man get away with murder [almost], but we also hear his victim apologize for getting shot. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.

CORPUS CHRISTI, United States (AFP) - Harry Whittington, the hunting companion accidentally shot by Vice President
Dick Cheney, expressed regret at the storm of publicity caused by the shooting.

The 78-year-old lawyer, who was to leave hospital on Friday, told reporters he was "deeply sorry for all Vice President Cheney and his family have had to go through this week."
