Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM)
In recent weeks the issue of the death penalty has received some increasing attention. In speeches in Chicago and Washington, DC, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia questioned the church’s opposition to the death penalty and rejected the 1995 papal encyclical "Evangelium Vitae," saying that if he did accept it, he would have to resign from the Supreme Court. Scalia went so far as to say that Catholic judges who do oppose the death penalty should resign.So-called "pro-life" Catholics like Scalia are hypocritical wankers deserving of nothing but scorn from all people of good will.
