Well today's my grandson's birthday party, so this post will be brief. But I must draw your attention to the latest craze (which is actually a tiresome rerun from centuries of similar ill-fated shenanigans) wherein certain Christians not only think they can predict the second coming of Christ/end of the world as we know it, but are trying to make it happen sooner. Jesus said very clearly that no-one knows when that time will come, hence this apocalyptic prediction/encouragement nonsense is in direct defiance of Jesus' teachings.

Sorry for being so irreverent, but end-timers deserve all the scorn we can heap on them. They use the Parousia as an excuse to blow off all responsibility to God and God's creation--at their own peril. And their grandchildren's.
