Centrist, that is. Here's an example of what may happen when that cognition finally dawns on our pampered pussified punditocracy:

Lamont's victory proves that a centrist can't win a Democratic primary. Lamont is not a centrist because he opposes the war in Iraq. You can't be a centrist and oppose the Iraq war because the percentage of Americans against the war is only... uh... how many? Sixty? Huh? Sixty percent? That can't be right. It is? Shit... How the fuck am I supposed to keep my job as a highly paid, widely respected pundit if I can't simply regurgitate GOP talking points? And I just bought a new tux for that shindig down at Karl Rove's place...
