In spite of efforts by his colleagues to throw him under the bus, Hastert is just too fat to fit. The longer he holds out, the more damage he'll do to the GOP.

Key House Republicans learned of the e-mails in 2005 and chose to deal with Foley privately, warning him to cease contact with the 16-year-old former House page. Top aides to Speaker J.
