Polloi Schmolloi

Dick Schickel puts in his nickel...

The Washington Monthly

"They need to prove, not merely assert, their right to an opinion."
Uh, no... the First Amendment recognizes our right not only to have an opinion but to express it, through both the spoken and written word, whether on paper or in cyberspace.

I suppose Ben Franklin and Tom Paine should have burned their printing presses and taken up knitting--or literary criticism. Word to the Schickster: Those who can do; those who can't become critics.
