Negroponte Cites 'Innovations' in Integrating Intelligence
Director of National Intelligence John D. Negroponte defended his first year on the job yesterday by saying he has made progress in integrating the work of the 16 agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community, adding it will take time "remaking a loose confederation into a unified enterprise."Among the accomplishments and "innovations" Negroponte reportedly cited:
