This is just unbelievable. The GOP is looking at Gustav as a political opportunity? If any single thing were to permanently disqualify the Republican Party from having any role in governance, this would be it.

The unexpected disaster also offers the GOP a do-over on the Bush administration's disastrous response to Katrina three years ago. If the government can do a much better job of responding to a natural disaster this time around, it can only help the GOP.

Of course, as noted here, the victims of Katrina aren't lucky enough to get a do-over.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention that Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen, authors of the linked article, should also be banned from journalism forever. And that goes for the shitrag they write for (Politico), too.
