Biden, others hit the airwaves to counter Palin - Yahoo! News

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Democrats shot back at GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Thursday, saying her convention speech was laden with partisan attacks but devoid of substantive answers about where the Republican ticket would take the nation.

Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden was dispatched to the television morning shows to deliver the response. The Delaware senator complimented Palin on the skillful delivery of a tough speech and repeatedly called Palin a competent and tough opponent.

Biden, speaking from Virginia Beach, Va., on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," quickly added: "Last night, what we heard was a lot of partisan attacks and no real solutions."

"I didn't hear a single word about health care. I didn't hear a single word about education," he said. "I didn't hear a single substantive thing."

How is this fucked up? Let me count the ways:

1. Sarah Palin in a tyro with less political experience than my left nut. NEVER refer to her as "competent".
2. Sarah Palin is a lying piece of shit. NEVER compliment her, PERIOD. Call her on her lies.
   
3. The two mistakes above just cut the legs out from under campaign surrogates who could otherwise attack Palin effectively. Bye, bye Hillary.
   
4. Grousing about "partisan attacks" sounds like whining. Only pussies whine. NEVER whine. Hit back.
