Christian pastor linked to Hamas

BREAKING: Rick Warren, conservative Christian pastor of Saddleback Church and author of the best-selling book "The Purpose-Driven Life," has been linked to Hamas, sources close to Mr. Warren report. It seems that Mr. Warren, selected by president-elect Barack Obama to deliver the inaugural invocation, once asked a waitress to "slap as much ham as she could" on an egg sandwich he had ordered for breakfast. "It's obviously a coded message indicating his support for Hamas, al Qaida, terrorism, and anti-semitism," an anonymous expert on terrorist sleeper cells told this reporter. "Plus the waitress in this particular incident was somewhat swarthy, probably of middle eastern ethnicity. And what better way to conceal a secret message to Osama bin Laden than hiding it behind an order for a meat banned by Islam? It's insidious!"

UPDATE: Was Francis Bacon secretly a Hamas supporter as well?

Prayer speaker linked to Hamas - The Boston Globe
WASHINGTON - A Muslim scholar chosen to speak at President-elect Barack Obama's post-inaugural prayer service Wednesday is the leader of a group that federal prosecutors say has ties to terrorists.

Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America, is one of many religious leaders scheduled to speak at the prayer service.

Mattson has been the guest of honor at State Department dinners and has met with Pentagon officials during the Bush administration. She also spoke at a prayer service at the Democratic national convention in Denver. But in 2007 and in July, federal prosecutors in Dallas filed court documents linking the Hartford, Conn.-based Islamic society to Hamas, which the United States considers a terrorist group.
Anyone have a #2 pencil I can shove in my eye to stop the pain?
